Chula Vista Police Department implements eSOPH to increase efficiency with pre-employment background investigations.

January 7, 2014 – Chula Vista, CA.   On Tuesday January 7, 2014, The Chula Vista Police Department executed a 12-month contract to use eSOPH, Miller Mendel’s background investigation software system. The Chula Vista Police Department intends to process at least 130 applicants within 12-months, using eSOPH.

On behalf of the Chula Vista Police Department, the eSOPH transition project was led by Lieutenant Vern Sallee and Administrative Services Manager Edward Chew. As of January 7, 2014, the Chula Vista Department is the second agency in the state of California to transition their background processing to eSOPH.
